Evoland gamepad not found windows 1011/14/2023 The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is currently our. If anyone knows of any solutions other than what's already been posted, please let me know. While we still love our mouse and keyboard setups for shooters, there are plenty of games designed primarily with controllers in mind. These threads are so old now that the odds of someone responding with a legitimate fix for me are minuscule. I'm giving up hope of replaying this game properly, all thanks to this stupid issue that never should have been a problem to begin with. I feel like I've tried everything short of sacrificing my firstborn, but I'm kind of attached to the little guy. No need for compatibility or admin rights. The problem - my problem at least - was that the pad.exe should be in focus (on the front of all windows) so that the XBOX 1 controller could work. The game clearly recognizes the controller, as the setup option isn't grayed out, but it won't detect any inputs. Hi there, I found a workaround for all your problem (and mine) with a Xbox 1 gamepad under W10. And yes, I'm referring to both the game exe and the pad.exe. I've tried running in compatibility mode for both Windows 7 and Vista, because I had Vista on my previous computer and the game recognized my controller back then. I'm playing on Windows 10 with a wired Xbone controller, but nothing works. I've tried everything in these threads to get this game to work with my controller. Maybe it would be good to mention, that in de Options Menu of Evoland there is 'Controller Settings' which I can choose, if the controller is plugged in, but once I klick on it, nothing happens, it only changes to 'start game' and if i try to klick on this nothing happens (in fact, after klicking on 'controller settings' nothing works anymore) PLEASE somebody help me, I can't find a fix to this problem and sadly this fix in this theard does not help me so far :/ When I go to my evoland directory and open up the pad.exe there only stands 'no pad found', also if I follow the intructions in this thread to fix the problem. and now it does not respond there either. Click on the Disable device option and then click on the Yes option on the pop-up dialogue. ![]() Locate the gamepad driver and right-click on it. The Device Manager now should be open on your screen. ![]() ![]() At first I thought maybe evoland won't work with mouse and keyboard plugged in, because smh the game favors this and so I went back to my steam link, plugged the controller in there. Open the Run utility by pressing the Windows + R keys on your keyboard. Nothing happend, I only could end the game with my mouse, which worked. and it just stopped responding to my actions. So I just got it on Steam, as they put it on sale and I was really interested on playing it. Later on the same evening (after some hours of not playing) I wanted to play on my computer while in teamspeak with some friends (and since I don't have a bluetooth headset, I have to sit in front of my computer), so well, I plugged in my controller, everything went well, I could use it in big picture mode an everything, but then I opend evoland. So I got a Steam Link + Steam Controller, played Evoland and everything was fine, worked well, really great game to play with a controller.
